These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by ExpressTek Inc. (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”). By scheduling an appointment, approving a quote, or allowing us to perform work on your property, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

ExpressTek Inc. provides residential and commercial HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) services, including but not limited to system diagnostics, repairs, and new installations.

2. Estimates & Authorizations

All major work is subject to a written or digital estimate outlining the scope of work and anticipated costs. By signing an estimate or verbally authorizing work to begin, you agree to the terms outlined in that specific service agreement.

3. Payment Terms

  • Due Date: Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless prior written credit terms have been arranged.
  • Methods: We accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and approved electronic transfers.
  • Late Fees: Invoices remaining unpaid past the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees and interest charges.

4. Pricing & Changes

Prices quoted are valid for the specific scope of work described. If unforeseen conditions arise (e.g., hidden electrical issues, code violations) or if you request additional services not in the original agreement, these will be treated as “Change Orders” and may incur additional charges. We will always seek your approval before proceeding with extra work.

5. Warranties & Guarantees

  • Labor Warranty: We stand behind our workmanship. Specific labor warranty terms (e.g., 1 year) will be detailed on your specific invoice or proposal.
  • Parts Warranty: Parts and equipment are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. ExpressTek Inc. will assist in processing these claims, but the manufacturer dictates the coverage terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise the highest professional care, ExpressTek Inc. is not liable for pre-existing system failures, damages caused by standard wear and tear, or issues resulting from a customer’s refusal to perform recommended repairs. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safety and efficiency, customers must provide clear, safe access to the HVAC equipment. This includes moving furniture, clearing debris, or securing pets. If a technician cannot safely access the unit, we reserve the right to reschedule and charge a trip fee.

8. Termination of Services

ExpressTek Inc. reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if a customer breaches these terms, creates an unsafe work environment for our technicians, or fails to make required payments.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
